Empathy and Shared Humanity

(Introduction by Steve Juetten)

CLUB NEWS:

Last Week's Program -   Sandy Sullivan, an enthusiastic speaker and author, related her experiences with the Green Bay Packers when she started working as a model and spokesperson for the Packers.  She meet all the iconic team members and Coach Lombardi.  Sandy presented an entertaining talk about her experiences.

Heart Safe Plymouth:   Our mass training event at the Fieldhouse Dome at Plymouth Creek Center allowed Russ, Norm and a large group of volunteers to train 516 persons in CPR and AED use.  The event was a wonderful success, although a number of people registered were no-shows. We've received numerous accolades for our Club's project.

We also want to thank the many volunteers from Plymouth Rotary, Wayzata Rotary and other area Clubs, plus area SCA survivors who were part of the day's events.

We are now at  2,554 trained and counting!

REMINDER:  Preview your member profile on the Club website for accuracy and update any missing data. Contact VP Steve Juetten or Secretary/Club Administrator Joe Thompson with any questions you may have.  To assist, Dwain Erickson and Diane Moyer can shoot smart phone photographs of members whose photos are missing in the Club Membership roster.

Plymouth Rotary will offer CPR/AED training as a scheduled event during the conference.  A good turnout from Plymouth Rotarians will be helpful to provide assistance during the training, and the conference generally will be a good use of your time.  A brochure with details is available on tables and at our Sergeant-at-Arms table.
