CLUB NEWS:

Last Week's Program -  Nancy Anderson (Board Member) and Mark Ihrke (Executive Director) of the Ridgedale YMCA gave us an overview of all the activities at the Ridgedale "Y".  The Ridgedale unit is part of the larger Twin Cities YMCAs, which is the third largest YMCA in the USA.  They YMCA organization was originally formed in London in 1850, and came to the USA in 1860.  The "Y" hosts members of all ages, but is especially active with youth programs, camps, etc.  The Ridgedale YMCA has recently undergone a massive upgrade and all Rotarians are encouraged to stop by and view the facilities. Rotarian Bob Wittman  commented on many programs which the Wazata School District collaborates with the "Y".   Plymouth Rotary has provided grants for youth programs in recent years.

Heart Safe Plymouth: As of 3/14/2015   2,038 people trained  (and counting!).  Our Mass Training Event will be held Tuesday, April 14th at the Plymouth Creek Fieldhouse Dome
Kudos to Russ Carlson and Norm Okerstrom for the organization expertise they have provided planning for the event. Sessions are planned for 12 Noon, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

We also want to thank the many volunteers from Wayzata Rotary and other area Clubs, plus area SCA survivors who be part of the day's events.

REMINDER:  Preview your member profile on the Club website for accuracy and update any missing data. Contact VP Steve Juetten or Secretary/Club Administrator Joe Thompson with any questions you may have.  To assist, Dwain Erickson and Diane Moyer can shoot smart phone photographs of members whose photos are missing in the Club Membership roster.
