June 23, 2016

This Week's Program:

We do not have a regular meeting this week.  However, we will be having a breakfast get together this Thursday (June 23) at Rock Elm Tavern. Please let Jeff Wosje (jwosje@western-bank.com) know if you plan on attending (if you haven't already done so).  Breakfast will start at 7:00 am with the speaker starting around 7:15 and ending by 8:15 am.

This Past Week, June 16, 2016 Meeting:

The meeting opened with the invocation by Don Untied, introductions by Dwain Erickson, cards by Norm Okerstrom and fines by Peter Bartling (thank you for filling in).  We had no card winner this week so the money carries over to this coming week.  President Juetten then read the riddles and answers - answers here, if you would like to know the riddle please read last weeks bulletin:  1) happy birthday; 2) half way, if you run any further you are running out; and 3) eyelashes.

After some great happy fines, President Juetten spent the meeting recapping the 2105-2106 Rotary Year and thanking members for all the work they did to make this a great year.  Let's work together to continue to make the Plymouth Rotary the best it can be.

President Juetten's closing comments for the meeting were:

1)  "No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks."  James Allen

2)  "The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you."  John E. Southard

3)  "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."  John F. Kennedy

THANK YOU ALL!

Quarterly Invoices:  Please pay quarterly invoices promptly.  The Board continues to work with members that have outstanding balances.

ClubRunner Member Profiles:  Preview your member profile on the ClubRunner website for accuracy and update any missing data. Contact President Steve Juetten with any questions you may have.  To assist, Dwain Erickson and Diane Moyer can shoot smart phone photographs of members whose photos are missing in the Club Membership roster. Is your photo missing??
