Fellow Rotarians,

  • Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim Bird and his family with the recent news shared earlier this week.
  • Please see upcoming email looking for your feedback in resuming in-person meetings.  Your input will help us plan.
  • Thank you to Don Weber, Russ Carlson and Norm Okerstrom for resuming Plymouth Heart Safe CPR/AED Training.  More details below.
  • Our fall fundraiser letters are being prepared and the raffle drawing will be in October. Jim Crenna is leading the committee and needs your help. Check your email with letters and send requested information to jcrenna@stifel.com
  • Warm hands/Warm hearts fundraiser - we will be sending a check on behalf of the club for $300 from the foundation. If you would like to donate to the foundation towards that cause (anything collected over $300 will be given in addition), please send your checks to: Plymouth Rotary Club Foundation, PO Box 46453, Plymouth, MN 55446. Please include note on memo line that funds are for Warm Hands Warm Hearts.
  • Blood drive being organized for the end of September. Contact Carol Parish if interested.  cjparrish1029@msn.com
  • Crescent Cove Update - Our club is working with other local Rotary clubs to provide musical instruments for Crescent Cove (children's hospice center). We are planning to participate in a "Work Day" - similar to what we did at Zachary Park. There will be some landscaping work needed after the instruments are installed. That will likely occur in October or early November. Stay tuned for more information to come - and please give a BIG THANK YOU to Carol Parrish for her lead on this meaningful project. We are lucky to have Carol and her experience in our club to help move important projects like this forward. Thank you Carol!!
