A Message from City of Plymouth's Dan Lauer:

Good Morning –

This winter is proving to be difficult for any type of outdoor winter activity.
It is with great regret, that I inform you that we have decided to cancel the Fire & Ice Event for 2024.

Parkers Lake still has some open water and we have no snow.

We feel we just don’t have enough time, nor can we count on the weather being conducive enough,
to have adequate conditions to support the activities on the lake.

Being that this event has now been cancelled the last 2 years due to conditions, we are going to
re-evaluate and modify the program going forward.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, but hope we made the decision far
enough in advance so you can plan for other activities.

Thank you
